Free NDIS Information Consultations

We understand that the NDIS can be a complicated system to navigate through when you're new to it. To help people get started, work out whether they're eligible for the NDIS and if so, the process they have go through to get support, we offer free face-to-face consultations. These meetings normally take about an hour with no obligations for costs involved.

If you'd like to have a chat to us about the NDIS and whether you or a family member might be eligible to receive support, click on the link below and fill out your details. We'll be in touch with you to organise a suitable date and time.

While the NDIS supports people with disability, the AABDS team understand that quite often the family and carers of people with disability get forgotten.

At AABDS we believe it's just as important to support the participant's family as it is to support them, so we provide a range of offerings to do this.

Free social functions and events

We hold regular free get-togethers and events for parents, carers and siblings of participants so they can have some time to talk to other people in similar situations, get advice and feel supported. So, if you're a parent, carer or sibling of one of AABDS's participants, keep an eye out for your invitation to our next event.

Subsidised psychology and behaviour support

While participants can get funding support through the NDIS to help them, the family and carers of participants can't. While they love and care for the participant, they may also face hard and challenging times. At AABDS, we recognise that having strong support networks can help our participants, so we offer family and carers subsidised psychology and behaviour support services so they can also be the best they can be.
